Stake Baccarat deals from a shoe shuffled by HMAC-SHA256 over your server seed, client seed and nonce. Cards are drawn in order - Player, Banker, Player, Banker - and the fixed third-card rules decide any extra draws. Tens and face cards count as 0, aces as 1, and each total is taken modulo 10.
Because the card order is locked by the seed pair before the coup, the whole hand is reproducible. The hashed server seed is the commitment; once revealed on rotation, both hands and their totals can be rebuilt and checked.
Banker bets pay 0.95:1 after a 5% commission with about a 1.06% house edge; Player bets pay 1:1 at about 1.24%; the Tie pays 8:1 but carries a much larger edge near 14%. Banker is the mathematically best main bet. The verifier confirms the dealt cards - it does not change the fixed payout odds.

Baccarat offers almost no decisions - the draw rules are fixed - so the only meaningful choice is which bet to make, and Banker carries the lowest house edge despite the commission. The Tie's flashy 8:1 payout hides a ~14% edge and is a long-run trap. The verifier proves the shoe was dealt honestly, not what the next coup holds.
If you play, stick to the Banker bet for the best math, skip the Tie and most side bets, and set a budget. Card-counting does not apply because each coup reshuffles from the seed, so treat the edge table above as fixed odds.
