Stake Keno draws 10 numbers from a pool of 40. The draw is a Fisher-Yates shuffle of the 40 numbers seeded by HMAC-SHA256 over your server seed, client seed and nonce - the first 10 numbers of the shuffled order are the draw. Your selections are then checked against that fixed set.
Since the shuffle is fully determined by the seed pair, the draw is set before the round and is reproducible from the same inputs. The hashed server seed is the commitment; once revealed on rotation, anyone can rebuild the exact 10 numbers and confirm nothing changed.
Payouts scale with how many of your picks are hit and the risk level you choose - classic, low, medium or high. Higher risk pays little for partial matches but escalates sharply for near-complete hits; classic pays more evenly. Matching more of your selections always increases the multiplier, and the house edge sits around 1-4% depending on risk and pick count.

Keno's draw is a uniform shuffle, so no number is 'hot' or 'due' and no pick pattern carries an edge - the only real levers are how many spots you pick and which risk profile you choose, both of which trade frequency against top-end payout. The verifier confirms a draw was fair; it cannot influence which numbers come out.
